Sometime when you make a new bear/pattern everything works first time off ( rarely but does happen). Other times, it take a few goes to a get the head right, but the body parts work easily.Or vice versa.
But with this guy , everything thing took 3 goes to get it right. 3heads, 3 bodies, 3 ears. You get the picture.
When I was making the 2nd arm, i began to give in to it, and think hey this one probably won't be quite right, and i'll have to have another go. Because this was the 3 go Panda.
I wanted to call him something to do with 3 , perhaps 3 in another language ( which prompted me to proudly recite and remember how to count to ten in German from my school days, I admit I had a momentarily lapse with 2 or zwei - thanks Mr Google) But none of the them suited him , or more so than Benjamin , which is his name.
Benjamin ( or 3 go Panda as he will always be to me) is for my soon to be born nephew or niece.
I have to say I'm pretty excited the arrival of this little person, as well as one more littlie than I can spoil

Gosh - thats alot of work, totally worth it for this guy tho.

Good things happen in 3's!! I love this guy. Perhaps one of my favs if its even fair to say such a thing. His little top is far too adorable. How long does your sister have to go?
