yesterday I was doing some cleaning out of some cupboards and the house I found this quilt that I made 8 years ago in a plastic
Lincraft bag at the bottom of a big cupboard I was cleaning out.. It's funny I had completely forgotten about it. It's from my
redwork faze, and the patterns are from a old Ladies Art Company catalogue I saw on the
Internet once. ( The Ladies Art Co was a company that produced many pattern for
redwork in it's hay day between 1900-40s. Being the nut I am I
researched and learned all about
redwork because that's what i do.)

It's a lap quilt I would say or a very small crib quilt and not quilted because well I couldn't be arsed and my skills weren't up to it. Like many things I've made in the past, I'm quite amazed to have made this, as I know now that sort of thing would drive me nuts. It's a bit wonky and crumpled (the crumpled part from sitting in at the bottom of a cupboard for 4 years or so)

Unfortunately it has a stain , and I was wondering if anyone had any advice of how to get it out?
I'm not really comfortable putting in the machine , being hand embroidered and all, i was thinking
sard wonder soap, but would love any other suggestions.

Also if anyone would like it please put up their hand and say in the comments below. Don't worry I wont be insulted if no one wants it either. Being stained and a bit wonky. I just have so many of the things I've made including redwork and there really is a limit to how much I can keep.

Oh and how do I know it's from 8 years ago, because to be honest my favourite thing about this quilt is the fact that I signed and dated it ( probably knowing that i would completely forget about it and when I made it haha)
hope you're having a wonderful Sunday
