it seems I have a subconscious desire to self harm, or burn myself, but this time it's not my bottom at issue, it's in fact my head.
Yesterday morning in the wee hours, I accidentally light my hair on fire, which caught fire, burned my eyebrow and a bit of my forehead above. Terrifying in the few seconds I was literally on fire, but in hindsight rather embarrassing and just a bit funny ( to me anyway)
But like a real girl, i was actually more worried about how it might look, than how much it hurt. ( and boy does it hurt)
and today I'm paying for it with a lovely scarry blistering thing above my eyebrow, and lots of skin peeling ... lovely.

Oh Jess, you poor thing! What rotten luck! Glad to see the damage is minimal, though very sorry to hear how much it hurts. Is it Aloe Vera that helps with these things? Hope it heals soon. Kx
Jeez Jess - that must have given you such a fright, let alone reaaallly hurt!! Hope you're doing okay today and you have something to put on it.XXX
ouch! how did you do that? I once set a tiny bit of my hair alight at a carols by candlelight (too carried away with singing), but was lucky not to burn any skin. Hope it heals up fast, Jess xo
That will teach you for smoking!!!!
(I am joking, it looks really really sore! Hope it heals fast!)
xx
Poor poppet. If I'm remembering correctly Solasite cream from the chemist is fabulous, fast-healing burn stuff. x
oh Jess, you poor thing!
I agree with Tania, solasite, it works.
ohhh, big hug ♥
Maybe you could cool it with a wet teddybear that has been in the fridge/freezer for a few hours?
Ouch. That must have been so scary at the time. At least if it hurts it means there has been no nerve damage! Hope it heals up fast.
sheesh woman !!! You need supervision.
Ouch! I'm sure there is an interesting story behind this little episode, it has an almost Michael Jackson flavour. But seriously, hope you are ok and that it heals up super quick. NO MORE SMOKING IN BED, ok? xo
oh my, you poor thing! how ever did you do that ...
hope it heals quickly and painlessly
So sorry! I hope it feels better soon! I swear by aloe vera gel or juice to take the pain out of burns. Vit E helps them heal too.
Oh, Jess...you poor thing! I always find that chocolate (taken by mouth) helps burns immensely. Hope it works for you...
