Today was my market Stall. To be honest it wasn't the best market day or the most succesful day, it was quite slow and quiet. But today and yesterday I am feeling nothing but lucky.

I'm feeling immensley grateful to my wonderful friends, friends who dropped by, cheered me up , helped out and sent messages and thoughts when I just needed it. Grateful to have friends I can talk honestly with, not just about the good or cheery , happy happy stuff, But the more complex difficult things and frustrations. Blessed to know these wonderful generous women, and to call them my friends. Friends who get me, and I feel comfortable with, and fine to be "me" around.

and Tali from Milk and Cookies. And that all the stall holders there with me were so friendly and nice

I feeling grateful to my dad, who helped me set up and picked me up at the end, even though he had had a busy day and done heaps of driving. Who takes an interest in my craft, which is often rare for a man. To my mum who thinks the suns shines from my behind no matter what.
To be so lucky to be free of danger, safe in my home, my world not ripped apart by an earthquake or flooding. My family and loved ones safe and healthy.
These things, great friends, good people and love, these things are far more important to me
than heaps of sales or a great market. these are the things that matter
FOr those in Japan and the US my heart and thoughts go out to you.

Oh Jess, this is such a lovely, beautifully written post. It was such a pleasure hanging about at your stall and talking with you today, and I really enjoyed seeing lovely young people responding so wonderfully to your bears (if only they were the ones in charge of the money...).
Wishing you a happy rest-of-weekend! xo
Jess, that's really nice. Your description of those sort of friends is really great. I have a couple like that and they are treasures
darling you are the sweetest kindest person I have learn to know over at "blogland" - <3
You are the sweetest thing Jess. I sometimes wish that I lived in Melbourne so I could be close to you and all the other supercool bloggers and we could hang out all the time! *sigh*
p.s. just went to your etsy shop and saw that Iggy sold. As sad as I was, it is probably a good thing, as I would've had to buy him and I really can't afford it right now!
It was lovely to meet you Jess and Enid had a happy first night in our flat! We have not given her any English sandwiches yet though!
It all looks so beautiful! Well done for putting a stall together - your bears are SO cute.
You are amazing Jess! Very inspiring indeed.
It is such a hard thing to put so much effort and energy and thought into a market stall and then for it not to be a raging success. Most people get grumpy but you see the positives and write a gorgeous grateful post instead. You are awesome. XX
A lovely post, Jess. I am sure that your market day was a little slow because everyone's was. I'm glad you had a great day regardless. x
Jess this is such a beautiful post! I had a little tear...
I loved sitting next to you and just ADORE your work. All these amazing little guys that you create are really something else. Your parents are so lovely too!!

A Beautiful post written by a Beautiful person. You know if i was at the Market i would have bought you out! ;)
Sweet girl. <3
That's what I love about you. There's such a lot of all 'round goodness and the priorities are smack bang where they need to be. And at this time, where global disasters seem to be falling all over themselves, you wrote a post that set just the right tone.
Hey Jess,
Had a lovely time hanging out with you at the market!! Your stall was my favourite.. shhh. Your cute little softies are so gorgeous, I really like the vintage worn feel you give them.
I really love my little bunny, and have been having moral quandaries over whether I should keep her or give her to my baby niece. I'll be posting about her on my blog soon. Hope you enjoy the print!
x

Beautiful, touching post Jess. How lucky you are to have such a supportive family and such lovely friends. I am sure they feel the same about you.
Your stall looks so great. When is the next market and I will put it on my calendar.
