For the last few weeks I've itching to be doing some more mohair bears, but since I was in market prep and amigurumi is better market fare, I knew I couldn't really act on my cravings, til after.

But I promised myself when it was over I was going to devote some real time to concentrating on mohair bears for a while, because I had so many ideas and bears I wanted to create.
I'm lucky that in working in two different mediums, I can go between the two ( most of time) depending on which one I feel more inspired by.

Doug is the first little bear I've been wanting to get out of my head. A bit different of course than he looked in my head. He's a slight variation of my Iggy pattern but slightly modified because well I can't leave things alone.
Doug's main passion in life is bird watching,

Jess, Doug is great - we both love his fluffy ears! C and I xx
You've outdone yourself again - also on the naming front. 'Doug' is INSPIRED! I think Doug would also be a fabulous name for a chicken. I have it filed for when the Mr wins the chook keeping debate (remind me?)...
Love Doug. Love love love LOVE Doug :) He is just perfect, Jess. So, have I missed a post-market post? How did it go? Kx

I think Doug is ace! I think he would have felt totally at home with me and Pepper and all the other 3 year olds singing 'if you're happy and you know it' at story time today.LOVE those ears. X
YOU ARE KILLING ME!!!! I really, really want Doug, you have no idea! If only I wasn't going away in 2 weeks!!! My childhood favourite teddy (well, actually he is a dog) is called Dougie. He is not looking the best these days, my husband has tried to get me to throw him out, but I would never!
