Today at RRR we had one of our Live to Air broadcast gigs. It was another one the "Cry Baby" events, aimed at mums and dads with babies and kids whoc can come and listen to music and see a live band.
I always find these Cry Baby live to airs particularly special, having kids and babies adds a specialness, plus kids are just about the best Dancers.
The band was First Aid Kit, a swedish duo of sisters whose debut album I've been listening a lot to lately and loving. But seeing them live was something else, their voices are amazing and even better live, and they harmonize beautifully perhaps especially because they are sisters. They were completely charming, down to earth, funny and just plain charming. It's hard to belive they are only 17 and 19 years old! Such maturity and talent and so brave too, I think coming out to another country with another language.
