Return of Miss Fat Fingers

They're back. Red, itchy, painful and oh so attractive. Chilblains, and on my right hand of all hands.
As far as I'm aware there's nothing that can be done, just wait, wear gloves and don't stick them in front of the heater, but if anyone has a magic cure, I'd love one!

oh you poor thing!

i think there is not much except for warmth. i know that when i was sick in hospital, some other girls experienced this and they were told to wear gloves and warm socks. Good nutrition and exercise are the only preventative measures i know of... wish i could help jess! they look very sore!

:( x

Now remember what you already know about my mum and then continue....

I used to get chillblains on my feet all the time -and my mum used to tell me to wee on them to fix it.
I never did and they ached like hell...
Let me know if you give it a try !!!

OW!!! your poor lil Pinky!!!
Hotwater bottle, soft gloves and a bear to cuddle?

Maybe that would help?

Oh, you poor thing. Hope they feel better soon. I can have some sympathy for you, I don't get chilblains, but I do get arthritis in my fingers, and that hurts too. Though I'm glad I don't get itchy, that would drive me mental!

I love Jodie's comment, but please, DON'T let us know if you try it!! hehe!

Nasty - I get them on my toes in Winter. You need to keep walm. Marigold (Calendula) cream seems to help me, takes out the itch.
