Best mothers day ever

We don't usually celebrate Mothers Days in our family, but this year we made an exception. To be honest, I had actually thought last week was mothers day, and considering the events last Sunday, today I had ( and Mum too) a much better Mothers Day.
Lots of hugs , 3 bunches of flowers and some of her favourite soaps, plus a little cake and coffee in the afternoon, and dad did all the cooking. If there was any reason to celebrate Mum is is now.
On my Mum, she is home, (came home yesterday, woohoo) is doing amazingly well, is already feeling better and in less pain. I think being home is often the best medicine, hospitals can reinforce that "sick" feeling.
thank you again for all your lovely comments and thoughts sent our way.
And too all the amazing and incredible mums I know, and don't know, I hope you had a ripper of a day, got spoilt rotten that your teeth fell out and felt lovely and appreciated for the heroes you are. Evie totally spoke my mind in her post. I don't know how you do it.
