Still working on same bears as last week .A few hiccups have delayed progresss on him, first realizing i didn't have enough mohair to finish him- which meant waiting for it for arrive , then double dyeing it and secondly a slight arm disaster ( too big too wrong even after I had done 2 or 3 test arms in odd scraps of mohair). So I been doing my ageing where I can, experimenting a bit, with different stain effects. Trying a get an affect similar to Ferdy my antique bear.
Sorry if it's a bit boring.
thank you to everyone for your lovely comments last week and encouragement. It really meant a lot and was a great help, I always love feedback so thank you, as sometimes you are so close it's hard to see stuff, and I think we are all our own biggest critics.
Anyway at least he has a body, although I started to worry last night if he is worth it.
For more creative spaces pop over to Kirsty's.

He's a beauty Jess - you're so clever with the way you can age him.
(Of course the clown in me wants to add that he looks like a nice 'armless sort of fellow - sorry!)
So beautiful, love your bears!
am glad that I click on your blog this week! :)
Your WIP bear made me chuckle. I hope you get to complete them v soon. Don't worry about being boring whatsoever. We the crafter/creator always have our up and down time. Me too, waiting for new paper supplies to arrive for more test print. The main thing is- it keeps you busy and you are happy with what you are making. X
He's coming along nicely Jess. Don't give up on him, I can hear him whispering, "finish me Jess, you know you want to, it will be so worth it in the end"...
Oh don't say that - you will break his little heart - I think he is looking great and worth every minute!
they look so cuddly. can't wait to see them in action.. probably cuddled in someone's arms. xo m.
Oh please give him limbs. I couldn't bear to think of him going unfinished!

Oh Jess - that poor limb-less bear!
You are so patient doing things over and over. He will definitely be one to treasure when you are done.
I love hearing about how people do things - the aging stuff is great and no where near boring! Your bears are the bestedest!
