My creative space

thanks again to all the lovely comments last week, re dyeing and letting me ramble yet again about the whole ageing bear making process.
I'm a little annoyed with myself, even though I really liked the colour it didn't turn out to be quite right- sometimes it's hard to actually know until you are making the bear but I think I got a bit excited about getting on with actually making a new bear. On that front progress has been slow but (hopefully) steady ( I'll let you by the judge of that). As I said before I'm trying to make a bear a bit like my old dear boy Ferdy ( old bear in 2nd pic above next to head) How do you think I'm doing ? I've been doing some extra staining and shading around the nose and head with Parisian essence in various dilutions, sanding, wonking- having lots of fun too.
and just when you thought you were safe from anymore Chickies over here I've started on a fluffy chickie- looks like a ghost right now doesn't it?
And made another ami bunny.
TO see what everyone else is up to pop over to Kirsty's.

I think that you are doing amazingly Jess. He looks just like Ferdy but maybe he's less of a roll around the mud, puddle stomping bear & more of a lego & playstation type bear. x
