(i'm the littler chubby one)
If these pictures don't tell the story my older sister Hannah and I are really different. People often say that they can't believe mum and dad could produce two such different girls. I guess to put it in brief it's a classic case of Extrovert ( Hannah) and Introvert ( me). Hannah always has so much to say, could talk forever, is always on the go or always doing stuff, life of the party, really confident and strong where as I guess I'm quite quiet, like more one on one or small groups, a really nester and potterer happy just doing my bears, rather unconfident etc.
For most of our lives we haven't really got on that welland was really quite bad for some, I was always a bit scared of her or something, especially in our teens and it's really taken until now or the past 2 years or so that our relationship is really good.Even though we are on opposite sides of the world. Perhaps it's taken me standing up to her a bit, or her softening a bit too . And it's getting better and it means a lot to me. This is one of the first Christmas' where she won't be coming home and I really well miss her dearly. I feel so lucky to be able to say that now, and to understand something that I never got, the sisterly bond. as perhaps it wouldn't have always been the case.
Sorry for the mushy post.

Such a sweet post. I used to fight like cats and dogs with my sisters, but luckily as we grew older, we also grew closer. I'd be lost without them now. I couldn't imagine if they lived so far away.
I hope it won't always be difficult. My sisters and I have had our ups and downs (particularly when I was 18). But thankfully, we have found a happy, happy medium and we are the best of friends.
Such a sweet post Jess. Cute pics too. I hope your sister and you continue to build on your sisterly bond. I always wanted an older sister, yes, older - clearly very impossible!! ; )
