Had a great week at the Oppies this week!! And saving the best til last, Val, my lovely old lady friend at my local Oppy put this guy aside for me. I nearly cried, ( he is a tea cosy)
hello, I was wondering if you knew about Melbourne's collaborative op shopping blog 'I op therefore I am'
http://melb-opshopping.blogspot.com/
there are links there to maps and addresses of Melbourne's op shops. let me know if you are interested in joining. i'd love to see your bear tea cosy story there.
wow they really are some lovely finds. i also own that saucepan, and then i found the stove top kettle and soup dish a couple of weeks later at different op shops.
I love bears, I collect them and make them and sell them too.
. I really believe in wonkiness. i guess i think alot of the beauty of life, people, bears is in their faults and fragilities. Their wonkiness. It makes them/ us perfect.
