there's no a whole lot you can do with wet nail polish on

When many people find out I make bears, or when they see them, about my crafting in general, one of the most common responses is, " Oh you must be so patient, " "You're very patient, I would love to do that, I just don't have the patience." etc.
But I am not very patient at all, I think I am one of the most impatient people around. This morning is a perfect example, I painted my nails, and well there's not a whole lot you can do with drying nail polish. And the thought of sitting around for however long it takes for they to dry, doing nothing, I couldn't think of anything worse. I can't sew, crochet or anything really, I can be on the computer sort of, right now I'm typing with wet nails and smoking is very difficult. And without meaning to be rude, going to the loo is very hard. I mean like getting your pants down etc. ( i don't need to go into more detail do I?) I guess it makes you appreciate the use of your hands more in some weird way. And of course I keep checking and touching my nails to see if they're dry which stuffs it all up and I feel what is the point. It's pity that I do like them better with the polish on. SO I when I see people who seem to always have their nails perfectly painted "gee I wish I was that patient.

Ha! I understand! I'm usually not patient enough to get the nail polish ON much less wait for it to dry. I don't wear it anymore, but I was partial to metallic green at one point ;)
